If the finished solid metal signet ring needs a slight size adjustment either up or down, to a maximum of 3 sizes either way, we will do this free of charge. Alteration is at the discretion of the jeweller and depends on the size of the ring. Please return to us within 28 days of receipt.

For stone set signet rings, we will arrange a fitting date to try on the ring before the stone is set. The approved finger size not adjustable once the signet ring has been completed.

Made to order in platinum, 9ct, 14ct and 18ct yellow, rose and white gold, each Rebus signet ring is beautifully presented in a gift box with the wax impression of your unique seal engraved design and a stick of sealing wax, so you can create your own wax seals at home.

An extraordinary Craft

Keeping Traditions Alive

Our workshop in London’s legendary jewellery district, Hatton Garden, is alive with creativity. Filled with fully trained craftsmen, apprentices and support staff, Rebus is always buzzing with people who come to work each day to engrave, carve, draw, teach and produce brilliant work.

At Rebus, we run a four - five year apprenticeship scheme to train young creatives in the time-honoured traditions of hand engraving. Our apprentices start by honing their drawing skills and studying heraldic designs, then graduate to the art of surface engraving. When they’re ready, they’ll progress to traditional deep seal engraving and begin to translate your inspiration into a timeless piece of jewellery to be treasured across generations.
