Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned collector, our Trunk Shows - taking place from 24-26 March in Austin, Texas, and 28-30 March in New York City - offer an exclusive, hands-on experience to explore our collections and begin the process of creating your very own Rebus Signet Ring.
Here's everything you need to know about what to expect at a Rebus Trunk Show, including details about the two different types of appointment we are offering: our 1-on-1 Design Consultation and a more informal Drop-In Session; both of which you can book here.
1. Choosing Your Experience: 1-on-1 Consultation vs. Drop-In Session
At Rebus, we offer two distinct ways to enjoy our Trunk Show, each designed to meet different needs and preferences:
1-on-1 Design Consultation
Our 1-on-1 Consultation is an exclusive hour-long appointment, offering you dedicated time with our signet ring experts and design consultants Rachel Constantine and Merryn Milton, who will guide you through every aspect of the creation process.
You’ll have the chance to explore our ring collection, try on different styles, and discuss metal options, face sizes, and engraving types. Our team will provide tailored recommendations based on hand and finger sizes, design complexities, and your personal style. Whether you're looking for symbolism in your design or simply exploring possibilities, this is your opportunity for an all-encompassing consultation to bring your vision to life.
Drop-In Session
Our Drop-In Session is a more relaxed, informal opportunity to browse our collection - ideal for those curious about the design process but not quite ready for our hour-long 1-on-1 Design Consultation. Perfect for those still window shopping.
Take your time exploring ring samples, meet our team of signet ring experts, and watch a live engraving demonstration from Rebus founder, Emmet Smith.
The drop-in window is over a three hour period, so you are welcome to join us at your convenience once your booking is confirmed.
2. Getting Ready for the Trunk Show
A few days before your appointment, we’ll send you a reminder with all the essential details for your visit. You’ll receive confirmation of our suite number at the venue - the South Congress Hotel for those joining us in Austin, Texas, or The Towers at Lotte New York Palace for those joining us at our NYC Trunk Show. We’ll also provide clear directions.
Upon arrival, look for signage in the main foyer to guide you to our suite, or seek out the reception desk who will be able to assist you.
At the suite entrance, a member of the Rebus team will be on hand to greet you and guide you through your Trunk Show experience.
3. Your Arrival at the Trunk Show: What to Expect
Once you’ve arrived at the suite, here’s a brief overview of the setup and what you’ll experience:
Our suite will be set up to showcase our collections, and we’ll give you an overview of the styles on offer. Whether you're interested in signet rings, pendants, cufflinks, or something bespoke, we’ll guide you through the available options.
Depending on your choice of consultation, you’ll either sit down with one of our signet ring experts and design consultants for a tailored discussion, or explore our collection casually at your own pace.
4. Finalising Your Experience
For 1-on-1 Consultation: Once you've tried on rings and discussed your design preferences, we'll walk you through the next steps. If you’re ready, we’ll guide you in placing an order.
For Drop-In Session: If you’ve found something that speaks to you during your visit, our team can help you explore further or arrange a follow-up consultation to discuss customisations and order details.
