If the finished solid metal signet ring needs a slight size adjustment either up or down, to a maximum of 3 sizes either way, we will do this free of charge. Alteration is at the discretion of the jeweller and depends on the size of the ring. Please return to us within 28 days of receipt.

For stone set signet rings, we will arrange a fitting date to try on the ring before the stone is set. The approved finger size not adjustable once the signet ring has been completed.

The Heater Shield Signet Ring

One of the earliest uses of jewellery was for the symbolic protection of the body and spirit. Our range of Shield Signet Rings are inspired from the medieval shapes of combat armour, used as a physical defence against harm. This Heater shaped signet ring is available in three large, chunky face sizes and can be hand engraved with your personal symbolism.

A Seal of Approval

Your First Wax Impression

Your Rebus signet ring will be beautifully presented in a gift box, with the wax impression of the seal engraving and a stick of sealing wax, so you can create your own at home.

To create that first wax impression for your presentation box, we heat the ring over the flame of a candle. The surface will become coated in a fine layer of soot. We then press this into special Bank of England sealing wax.
